Facts about Croatia
The Croatian monetary units is the kuna (HRK) which is divided into 100 lipas. Major credit cards are accepted in most shops, restaurants, and hotels.

Host City and Venue
All international roads linking Western Europe with Near East and Eastern Europe with Adriatic Coast lead through Slavonski Brod, the capital of Brodsko-Posavska County. This Croatian town is located on the frontier between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the banks of river Sava in the wealthy, fertile and opulent Croatian province of Slavonia. It is located in the east of the Republic of Croatia, in the flat and green province of Slavonia. It is 190 km far from Zagreb, Croatian capital, and easily accessible by car (motor-highway) or by train.

Which are top sights in Slavonski Brod?
Among various cultural sights and landmarks we recommend you the Franciscan Monastery with the most representative cloister with sheltered arcades in the Northern Croatia and the Brod Fortress, a remarkable monument of the Baroque architecture of the 18th century. You should not miss to saunter through the Museum of Brodsko Posavlje with its abundant and lavish collections and see the exhibits of the Town Art Gallery. Don't forget the small and the large exhibition halls of the House of Family Brlić on the main town square and the seat of the Gallery in the Horvat Palace, Starčevićeva St. 8, where among other things you can see Donation of Branko Ružić, the world most famous and respectable contemporary Croatian sculptor (Slavonski Brod, 1919 - Zagreb, 1997)...
